Need something specific? We build pallets to your exact specifications — any size, any material, any quantity.

Your Specifications, Our Craftsmanship

Not every product fits a standard pallet. That's why we offer fully custom pallet fabrication to match your exact requirements — from dimensions to load ratings to material choices.

Our team works with you from concept to delivery. We'll help you determine the optimal pallet design for your products, supply chain, and budget. Whether you need 10 pallets or 10,000, we deliver consistent quality on schedule.

Custom pallets can be made from new or recycled lumber, plastic, or a combination of materials. We also offer prototype services so you can test before committing to a full order.

Our design team has over 15 years of experience solving complex packaging challenges. We've built custom pallets for aerospace components, oversized industrial equipment, delicate electronics, medical devices, and everything in between. No project is too unusual.

Milled channels and ridges that hold products in place during transit without additional packaging

Stackable Interlocking

Tongue-and-groove edges or corner posts that allow stable stacking without stretch wrap

Anti-Slip Surfaces

Textured deck boards or applied coatings that prevent product sliding during transport

Drain Holes

Strategically placed drainage for outdoor storage, cold chain, and wash-down environments

RFID/Barcode Integration

Recessed pockets for RFID tags or barcode labels for automated tracking and inventory management

Free Prototype Service

Not sure if a custom design will work? We build a prototype for you to test before committing to a full production run. Load it, ship with it, rack it — verify that it meets your requirements. Prototypes are available at cost with no obligation to order.

How It Works

From initial concept to final delivery, our custom pallet process is designed to be simple, transparent, and fast.

1

Consult

Share your product dimensions, weight, handling requirements, and any special considerations. We'll recommend the optimal design and materials.

2

Design

We create detailed specifications including a technical drawing with dimensions, materials, load ratings, and construction method. We can produce a physical prototype.

3

Build

Your pallets are manufactured to spec with quality checks at every stage. Each pallet is inspected before leaving our facility to ensure consistency.

4

Deliver

Finished pallets are delivered on your schedule using our own fleet. We can store inventory at our facility for scheduled releases if needed.

Custom Pallet FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity for custom pallets?

There is no minimum order quantity. We routinely build single prototypes and small batches of 5-10 pallets for testing. For production runs, pricing improves with volume — orders of 100+ typically receive the best per-unit pricing.

How long does it take to get a custom pallet made?

Prototypes are typically ready in 3-5 business days. Production runs of 100-500 pallets take 5-10 business days depending on complexity and material availability. Larger orders or unusual materials may take longer — we'll provide a firm timeline with your quote.

Can you match an existing pallet design?

Absolutely. If you have an existing pallet you want replicated, send us a sample or detailed specifications and we'll match it exactly. We can also improve on existing designs if you've identified weaknesses.

Do you offer design assistance if I'm not sure what I need?

Yes, and it's free. Tell us about your product (dimensions, weight, handling method) and how it moves through your supply chain. Our design team will recommend the optimal pallet configuration and provide a detailed spec sheet.

Can custom pallets be made from recycled materials?

Yes. We offer custom pallets made from recycled lumber at a lower cost than new material. The recycled lumber is inspected, graded, and dimensioned to the same specifications as new lumber. There's no compromise in quality.

What if the prototype doesn't meet my requirements?

We revise the design based on your feedback and build a new prototype at no additional charge. Our goal is to get the design right before production begins. Most designs are finalized within 1-2 prototype iterations.

Build Specifications

Material & Construction Options

Every element of your custom pallet can be specified. Here are the key choices that affect performance, cost, and compliance.

Lumber Species Selection

Choose from hardwoods (oak, maple, poplar) for maximum durability and load capacity, or softwoods (pine, spruce) for lighter weight and lower cost. Mixed-species construction is available — hardwood stringers with softwood deck boards — to balance strength and budget.

Fastener Configuration

Standard builds use spiral-shank nails for secure holding power. For high-vibration applications (automotive, machinery), we offer ring-shank nails, screws, or bolt-through connections that resist withdrawal under repeated stress cycles.

Board Thickness & Spacing

Deck board thickness ranges from 1/2" to 1-1/2" depending on load requirements. Board spacing can be adjusted to accommodate specific product footprints or forklift tine widths. Closer spacing = more support = higher weight rating.

Surface Treatments

Options include heat treatment (ISPM 15 compliance), sanding (smooth surfaces for delicate products), chamfering (beveled edges for easier fork entry), and branding (burned or ink-stamped logos, lot numbers, or handling instructions).

Stringer vs. Block Construction

Stringer pallets offer cost efficiency and are the North American standard. Block pallets provide true 4-way forklift access and better compatibility with automated handling equipment. We build both — your application and handling requirements determine which is optimal.

Recycled vs. New Material

Custom pallets can be built from recycled lumber at 30-40% lower cost than new material. Our recycled lumber is dimensioned, inspected, and graded to the same standards as new stock. For most applications, there is no functional difference.

Real Solutions

Custom Pallet Success Stories

Agricultural Equipment Manufacturer

Challenge

Standard pallets could not safely support their 4,200 lb tractor components. Products were arriving with damage from pallet flex during transit.

Solution

We designed a reinforced 60x48 hardwood pallet with doubled stringers and 1" thick deck boards rated for 5,000 lbs dynamic load. Added custom cradle blocks to prevent lateral shifting.

Result

Zero transit damage in 12 months since adoption. Client estimated $85,000 in annual savings from eliminated warranty claims and replacement parts.

Craft Beverage Company

Challenge

Needed 36x36 pallets for their specialty bottling line that also met ISPM 15 for Canadian exports. No standard product existed in the right size.

Solution

Built custom 36x36 heat-treated block pallets with close-spaced deck boards to support individual bottle cases. Designed for 4-way entry to work with their dock layout.

Result

Seamless integration with existing production line. Full ISPM 15 compliance for export. 15% reduction in per-unit shipping cost due to optimized pallet sizing.
