Sell Your Pallets
Got pallets taking up space? Turn them into cash. We buy all types, all conditions, any quantity.
We Buy All Pallets
Whether you have 50 pallets or 5,000, we'll make you a fair offer and handle everything. No need to sort, stack, or transport them yourself — we come to you.
We purchase all standard sizes, all materials, and all conditions. Even damaged pallets have value — the components can be used for repairs or recycled into mulch and biomass products.
Our pricing is transparent and competitive. We pay based on the type, size, condition, and quantity of pallets. Better condition pallets command higher prices, but even badly damaged pallets are worth something.
Many businesses don't realize they're sitting on money. If you receive shipments on pallets and those pallets are piling up in your yard or warehouse, you have an untapped revenue stream. We make it easy to turn that waste into cash.

What Affects Pallet Pricing
Our buyback pricing is based on several factors. Understanding these helps you maximize the value of your pallets.
Condition
Pallets in good condition (repairable or ready to resell) command higher prices than end-of-life pallets that can only be recycled for their raw materials.
Size
Standard sizes (especially 48x40 GMA) are worth more because they're in highest demand. Non-standard sizes may still have value depending on local demand.
Material
Hardwood pallets (oak, maple) are typically worth more than softwood (pine, spruce) due to their higher durability and lumber value.
Quantity
Larger quantities receive better per-pallet pricing. This is because pickup and transportation costs are amortized across more units.
Location
Pallets within our primary service area cost less to pick up, which means we can offer better pricing. Extended-area pickups may have adjusted rates.
Consistency
Regular, recurring pallet supply earns premium pricing. If you can provide pallets on a predictable schedule, we'll build that reliability into your rate.
Who Should Sell to Us?
If pallets come into your business but don't go out, you're a perfect candidate for our buyback program.
Retailers & Stores
You receive product shipments on pallets daily. Instead of sending them to the dumpster or paying for disposal, sell them to us.
Warehouses & Distribution Centers
You accumulate pallets faster than you can use them. We'll set up a recurring pickup schedule so they never pile up.
Manufacturers
You receive raw materials on pallets but ship finished goods in custom packaging. Those incoming pallets have value.
Construction Sites
Building materials arrive on pallets that are typically discarded after use. We'll buy them — even if they're damaged.
Restaurants & Food Service
Food deliveries come on pallets. Instead of breaking them down for trash, earn money by selling them to us.
Any Business Receiving Freight
If pallets are piling up at your location, you have a monetizable asset. Contact us to find out what your pallets are worth.
Know What You Have
Pallet Condition Guide
Understanding the condition of your pallets helps you estimate their value. Here's how we grade pallets when we buy them.
Grade A
Like New
Minimal wear with no broken boards, no major staining, and all fasteners flush. These pallets are ready for immediate reuse in retail, pharmaceutical, and customer-facing applications.
Grade B
Standard Use
Light to moderate wear with minor cosmetic imperfections. All boards intact and structurally sound. May have 1-2 replaced boards or minor repairs. Ideal for warehouse and distribution use.
Grade C
Economy
Functional but visibly worn. Multiple repairs may be evident. Some discoloration or staining. Structurally sound for most general applications including one-way shipping and heavy storage.
Salvage
For Recycling Only
Damaged beyond economical repair. These pallets still have value for their salvageable components — good boards, stringers, and metal fasteners are recovered for reuse in repairs and recycling.

Wondering how much your pallets are worth? Here are typical buyback prices by grade for standard 48x40” GMA pallets. Actual pricing may vary based on quantity, location, and market conditions.
Grade A
$6 – $8

Like-new condition pallets in high demand. Best prices for clean, unmarked, dimensionally consistent pallets.
100 Grade A pallets = $600 – $800
Grade B
$3 – $5
per pallet
Standard-use pallets with light wear. The most commonly sold grade, representing the bulk of buyback transactions.
100 Grade B pallets = $300 – $500
Grade C

100 Grade C pallets = $100 – $300

per pallet
Damaged pallets bought for component recovery. Even broken pallets have value — good boards and hardware are salvaged.

Revenue Scenario: Mixed-Grade Lot
Most businesses have a mix of pallet conditions. Here's an example of what a typical mixed lot of 200 pallets might be worth:

From Clutter to Cash
What Our Sellers Say
We had over 300 pallets stacked up in our yard and were about to pay someone to haul them away. Sacramento Pallet came out, counted everything, and wrote us a check on the spot. We've been on a bi-weekly pickup schedule ever since — it's become a steady little revenue stream for us.
Tom H.
Warehouse Manager, Building Materials Supplier
As a restaurant distributor, we receive hundreds of pallets a week with food deliveries. They used to pile up until we ran out of space and had to deal with them. Now Sacramento Pallet picks them up every Tuesday like clockwork. We get paid, and the problem is solved. Should have done this years ago.
Jennifer M.
Operations Director, Food Service Distribution
I manage a retail store and didn't think our pallets were worth anything since most of them were pretty beat up. Turns out, even the damaged ones have value. We sell about 40-50 pallets a month to Sacramento Pallet and make enough to cover a good chunk of our waste management costs.

Selling FAQ
Do I need to sort my pallets before pickup?
No. We handle all sorting and grading at our facility. Just stack them where our truck can access them and we take care of the rest. However, if you can separate obvious trash (broken beyond repair) from decent pallets, it can result in a better overall price.
How quickly can you pick up my pallets?
Standard pickup scheduling is within 2-3 business days. For large volumes (500+) or recurring accounts, we can arrange next-day or even same-day pickup. Rush pickup is available for urgent clearance needs.
What if my pallets are badly damaged?
We still buy them. Badly damaged pallets have value for their salvageable components (good boards, stringers, hardware). Even pallets that can't be repaired are recycled for mulch, biomass, and metal recovery.
How and when do I get paid?
Payment is processed after on-site count and inspection. For established accounts, payment is typically issued within 5 business days via check or ACH transfer. First-time sellers may receive payment on-site for immediate settlement.
Can you set up a recurring pickup schedule?
Yes. This is our most popular option for businesses that accumulate pallets regularly. We can set up weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly pickups on your preferred day and time. Recurring accounts receive premium pricing.
Do you buy plastic pallets?
Yes. We buy used plastic pallets in good condition. Pricing for plastic pallets varies significantly based on type (nestable, stackable, rackable), brand, and condition. Contact us with details for a quote.

What Happens to Your Pallets After We Buy Them
When you sell pallets to us, they enter our circular processing system. Nothing goes to waste.
~60% Are Repaired & Resold
Pallets in repairable condition go to our repair line. Technicians replace damaged boards, reset nails, and bring each pallet up to our grading standards. These pallets re-enter the market at a fraction of new pallet cost, serving businesses across the region.
~15% Are Sold As-Is
Pallets in good condition that need no repairs are graded, sorted by size, and added directly to our sales inventory. These are typically the pallets you receive the highest buyback price for.
~20% Become Raw Material
Pallets too damaged for repair are disassembled. Good boards and stringers are salvaged for use in repairing other pallets. Remaining wood is chipped into mulch, landscaping material, or sent to biomass energy facilities.
~5% Metal Recovery
Nails, screws, and metal fasteners from disassembled pallets are collected via magnetic separation and sent to metal recyclers. Even these small components are kept out of landfills.
